  • sweetfreedomgirl - Worthless

I purchased this collar for 3 dogs; 2 Scottish terriers and one blue heeler. Since the day this collar was placed, I have found ticks on all three dogs, some of which were under or within one inch of the collar. Many were so engorged with blood that it was clear they had been there for awhile. The dogs have worn the collars for about two weeks and I have found ticks every day. I don't see any difference in tick numbers since placing the collars. This product was a complete waste of money.

  • shadowsinmysota - WOW!! You Wont Believe It!!

My son got a ThunderShirt for his German Shorthair dog Max. Max would bark and cry all day while my son was at work which really annoyed his roommates who worked different hours then he did. When he ordered the ThunderShirt he didn't think that it work because Max was already on medication to help him calm down and to help with his separation anxiety, the medication did little to help Max with those issues so he thought that there was no way a silly shirt would do anything, BUT, because his roommates were asking my son repeatedly to try to do something about the barking he thought he would give it a try..............OMG!!! he put that shirt on Max and instantly he was calm. When my son would walk out of his room Max would always be right there trying to get out the door before him so he wouldn't have to stay in the room by himself, with the ThunderShirt on, Max just laid there, he couldn't care a less that my son walked out the door/room without him. If you saw Max before the ThunderShirt was introduced (put on) to him you wouldn't know it was even the same dog. The Only thing my son had to say about the ThunderShirt was WOW!! He could not believe that the shirt worked, HOWEVER, he did say that after awhile of keeping the shirt on Max almost constantly, Max did slowly start to go back to his old habits, so now when he is home he leaves the shirt off and only uses it when he's going to be gone for any length of time....by using it only in situations that it's really needed, it works just like it did on that first day he tried it.

  • Yardape - A quiet garbage disposal

This unit was a direct plug and play for the Kenmore it replaced. The output tube aligned directly with the existing plumbing which made it super easy. I didn't have to remove the old sink mount which was an insinkerator mounted to the old Kenmore. The disposer is heavy and aligning the collars while holding it in the air could have been pretty rough. Instead I was able to place the disposer on top of 2 4x4 blocks of wood. That put it only an inch under the connection and enabled me to push it straight up and in and lock it into the mount. Since I already had the old one out when the new one arrived the whole thing took me 20:00 minutes at most. A lot has been expressed about the noise level. While it is quieter, who cares? Who's running their garbage disposal overnight? Truthfully the only reason I bought this unit from Amazon was because it was not available in local stores. Had it been, the $10 I saved would not have been worth the inconvenience of being without a kitchen sink while waiting for it to arrive. The old one died late Friday night, I researched and ordered the InSinkErator on Sunday morning and received it Tuesday around 4:00 p.m. A few people have posted that the rubber gasket does not let water flow fast enough and that the sink backs up with water. I did not find this to be the case. In some cases homeowners may have the valve that regulates the water coming into their house adjusted to high. I had this problem a couple years ago. When a plumber replaced it after it failed he told me that having that valve adjusted with increased water pressure can make other in-home valves as well as dishwasher and washing machines fail prematurely. It makes sense. I also noted that the photos from purchasers back in 2007 showed a much nicer drain plug that had stainless steel trim. The one that came with mine was a cheap piece of plastic that will get thrown under the sink and probably never seen again. There has also been much written about the fact that it comes without a power cord. You shouldn't need one unless your existing cable is worn out or you're doing a brand new installation rather than a replacement..

  • Tanya L - Becomes a life saver after a few month....

We bought Mamaroo before my son was born hoping this device can give us some sleep, but sadly he did not particularly enjoy the ride in it. We put Mamaroo aside and kept thinking how we could do with it. Now our son is almost 5 months old, and he becomes restless and fuzzy in daytime. While nothing could calm him down, we thought of Mamaroo again. As soon as the car ride mode with intensity 3 starts, he would calm down and play his toy for a while, and fall asleep. We are glad that we did not sell it or give it away.... :)

  • Paul Virtue - Didn't last long

This was a gift and so by the time I opened it and started it using it two weeks had passed from date of purchase. Now I have been using it three weeks and it is dead but past the return deadline. It is a worthless paper weight.
