I think I enjoyed many of the reviews more than the movie. I was lost. I had to stop the movie and do a search for the second in the series, thinking that I obviously missed one. I must agree, the CGI is tops and the premise of the size of the mother ship and how they destroy and pillage to create such a thing is inspired; the movie is a worthwhile see for that. Now, Sela Ward as the President is baffling; then again no acting on her part is required; the role calls for nothing and she gives nothing and no great loss.

I found this to be a very well written and easy to read. I read the entire book in one sitting. The characters are easy to like and understand and the author did a great job of balancing the good news with the bad. This book reads like a cozy mystery and for most intensive purposes it is a cozy, except that it breaks the unwritten rule that children are not the ones put directly in harms way. This is however is a very relevant and very plausible mystery. It feels as though it was ripped from the headlines of CNN. The setting, time of year and emotional turmoil of this mystery played well into the story line and kept me turning page after page.

One of the best book I've used for my NCLEX exam! I finished this book 2 times before I took my exam. It helped a lot! It truly prepared me for the test. Their test taking strategies are amazing and helped me a lot during me exam. I would recommend this book also Lippincott's and La Charity's book.
