  • http://heartresearch.org.uk/about About Us | Heart Research UK - Heart Research UK - Helping hearts near you for almost 50 years We're your local national charity that has been helping hearts since 1967.   We were created after heart surgeon David Watson realised that patients were dying unnecessarily because of the lack of research into heart disease.  He wanted to do more so set up the National Heart Research Fund – now Heart Research UK.
  • http://heartresearch.org.uk/about/annual-accounts Annual Accounts | Heart Research UK - Here’s our latest Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2014. It gives you an insight into what we did last year - the people we helped, the research we supported, and the great work we've done in communities in helping hearts near you.  It also highlights the fantastic support that people have given us in raising the important funds that make all of our work possible for which we are very grateful.
  • http://heartresearch.org.uk/about/case-studies Case studies | Heart Research UK - We at Heart Research UK have been helping hearts by funding important research that is making a difference to the lives of those with heart problems. It has helped people like five-year-old Imogen Tankard who had life-saving open heart surgery when she was just six months old to correct a rare heart condition.  Imogen's mother, Vicky, strongly believes that research into new techniques over the years, funded by charities like Heart Research UK, have made the important advances in heart surgery that saved her daughter's life.
  • http://heartresearch.org.uk/about/our-ambassadors Our Ambassadors | Heart Research UK - We're proud of our ambassadors who put themselves out to promote our charity and the work we do as well as helping out at events and acting as our spokespeople. People like Rugby Super League star Adrian Purtell, who four years ago suffered a heart attack after a game, yet with sheer determination and hard work is back playing the sport he loves for Bradford Bulls.

  • ALAN WILLIAMS - will buy again

I am not a computer geek, but the reviews say this is a good product, and I have not had trouble with bugs, so it seems to work.

  • BigPaco - This is a steal!

The fact that it didn't come damaged is a big plus! I say that because this was shipped in its original retail packaging and that's it. Not extra protection. Which worried me but the monitor was In tacked.

  • do it myself - DIFFICULT INSTALLATION

The installation of KIS-2014 was one of the most frustrating episodes I have attempted to perform. Several attempts over a two day period ended with error messages, the most baffling was " . . . you do not have enough power because you are not an administrator" or something similar. I did at least half a dozen installs/uninstalls before receiving the magic words: "Installed successfully; Loading the application; and finally, Enter activation code". Note that I am a previous KIS user and never had this much difficulty with the previous KIS 2013 installation. Also note that I had contemplated switching to another product (not Norton), but did not have enough information, with the exception of other comments from users who purchased from Amazon. A popular consumer rating magazine gave KIS a pretty good rating, so I decided to stick with KIS. I did contact KIS support, via email, received an "incident number", but have not received a reply. The last aggravation was an opportunity to give KIS my feedback, which I started to do. I was asked multiple personal and demographic questions (which I never complete), and I terminated the session. One final comment: KIS does have telephone customer support, 1-866-525-9094. Hope this helps in your decision-making.

  • R. Song - Didn't work on my MAC

My Mac is about 4 years old now and I was hoping to not have to upgrade, but I am not having much luck finding malware protection for it. This does not work on the MAC.

  • DENISE MARKS - my scalp broke out

I Have never had any skin condition or allergies. But half way through the pack my scalp blew up in painful red sores!

  • Mary Frame - Requires a Bit of a Long Wait Time but Works Well

I have really curly, frizzy hair that is hard to control and really demands the use of conditioner, but sometimes even after I condition, my hair feels dry and frizzy afterwards so I was hoping to try this deep conditioner and see if that worked better for making my hair stay softer for longer than using a typical cheap conditioner. This did seem to make my hair feel healthier between washes and I like that it didn't seem to affect my hair color since I dye my hair and certain shampoos and conditioners strip the color out but this one didn't which is nice. However it didn't seem to make my hair feel softer for longer like I had hoped and was about on par with my normal conditioner. It worked a bit better but since it is higher maintenance and more expensive I probably wouldn't use it for every wash but about once a month or so this would be nice to use. I really like the smell of this product since it isn't overbearing but is still pleasant and the smell definitely stayed on my hair after I rinsed it out. I wasn't a big fan of needing to keep this on my hair for 15-20 minutes since it meant I needed to get out of the shower, wait, and then get back in so it is a bit of a high maintenance product for me since I tend to be pretty efficient in the shower. Still though, I like this product well enough to use it occasionally since it does provide marginally better results than using my normal conditioner. I understand that when choosing among products it is important to vet the legitimacy of reviews. I received a sample of this product at a reduced cost in exchange for my full evaluation. I always make a concerted effort to fully articulate the positive and negative aspects of the products I receive and am not incentivized to leave a positive review.
