    What a joke, force you to upgrade. I had 2013 version and can't manually import my credit card statements into quickbooks. Basically locking you out of your own program. Then they have you register and force you to answer questions that are none of their business. Plus the software is like one big advertisement, try this, try that, all for a fee of course.

    Commercial Databases can run from 30 - 50 thousand dollars for a single installation. That's far beyond my price range just to try out some new features of the latest databases. Fortunately, I can try out my interface designs and database experiments on a modern full featured Microsoft Database for the cost of ten Starbucks coffees.
