This cargo carrier will expand to about 47" x 21" x 26". It has 6 attached straps so that it can be securely attached to your roof. The zipper is heavy duty. The fabric is both heavy duty and rainproof. I haven't had a reason to use it yet, but after inspecting it, I wont hesitate to use it on our next vacation. I received this product at a discount or free in exchange for an honest review. I review items only if me or my family actually need and will use. I have read the reviews and information about the product myself prior to ordering so I am usually confident I will like the product – thus the reason many of my reviews are positive. However, I have and will continue to leave appropriate negative reviews for products that are not good quality products. I strongly depend on product reviews when making purchases so it's very important for me to leave an honest review. I do NOT review products just because they are free or discounted.
I bought this stroller for my 1st baby about a year ago. The stroller has been fine - though the seat fabric deteriorated all of a sudden, and the customer service experience has been nothing but terrible. The customer service claims anything and everything as user error. They want you to buy new parts, new anything - rarely cooperating to help out a customer who just spent >$1000 on a stroller that did not even last 6 months (which is not even every day use - I have multiple strollers that I rotate between). When you pay that much, you expect that the product lasts. To be honest, it is such an unpleasant experience to deal with them that I wish I never bought the stroller in the first place. If I were to write a list of things I would do differently, I would avoid Uppababy and stick to a brand who takes care of its customers when their customers need them the most (a fulltime working mother of a toddler!). My advice to you: surround yourself with brands and people who will support you with every small and big issue you may have. Life is too busy and demanding to deal with brands who will challenge you and eat your time up (and at the end make you buy new parts for almost a brand new stroller).
